This feature allows you to save and edit deals in a disk file. You can use PERSONAL PLAY LIBRARY to save a BRIDGE BARON deal you have just played, or you can go directly to PERSONAL PLAY LIBRARY and enter the cards, bids, and plays of a deal. After a deal is over, you can add a commentary before saving it to disk.
Once a deal is saved, it can be restored and replayed, just as if it were a SHEINWOLD BRIDGE CHALLENGES deal. You can also edit the cards, bidding, play or commentary of a saved deal, or delete it altogether. There are four PERSONAL PLAY LIBRARY commands:
Retrieve a Saved Deal
You are asked to select a deal from the available files. Then you bid and play the deal as if it were a SHEINWOLD BRIDGE CHALLENGES deal -- that is, the program will not allow you to make an incorrect bid or play. If you want to bid or play a saved hand in a different way, you can do it from BRIDGE BARON, by selecting Library Deal from the Deal dialog box.
Delete a Saved Deal
Delete a PERSONAL PLAY LIBRARY file from the disk.
Enter a New Deal
This option allows you to deal some or all of the cards yourself. After you have dealt the cards, you can bid and play all four players' hands. Then you can add your commentary at the end. You can also give the deal a title by typing it in the rectangle at the top of the screen.
Edit a Saved Deal
This option allows you to change the cards, bids, plays, and/or commentary in a PERSONAL PLAY LIBRARY deal.
